Requirements
At Jobsity, we're looking for a Firmware Engineer to develop IoT and Building Automation solutions. You'll program embedded devices in C, integrate hardware and sensors, implement industrial protocols such as BACnet and Modbus, and develop control logic for real-world automation systems. This is a hands-on role with opportunities to expand into robotics, Python, and AWS IoT as the team grows.
What do you need to apply successfully?
- Conversational English level (+B2 level)
- Must reside in LATAM
- Strong hands-on embedded C.
- Experience with building automation / industrial protocols, especially BACnet plus Modbus.
- Hands-on hardware skills: able to wire up a PLC on the bench, connect sensors, and test implementations.
- Comfortable working with analog sensor signals.
- Arduino experience, particularly the Arduino Opta.
- Strong debugging skills across hardware/software boundaries.
- Basic electrical knowledge and safe handling of PLCs and field devices.
