Role Description This full-time remote Data Engineer role is responsible for designing, building, and maintaining scalable data pipelines and infrastructure that power Sigmatic’s AI-driven solutions. The Data Engineer will collaborate closely with product, analytics, and engineering teams to ingest, transform, and integrate data from multiple sources into secure, reliable data platforms. Daily tasks include implementing ETL processes, optimizing data models, managing data warehousing environments, and ensuring data quality and performance. The role also involves supporting reporting and analytics initiatives, troubleshooting data issues, and contributing to the continuous improvement of data architecture and best practices.

- Candidates should possess strong skills in Data Engineering and building scalable data solutions.
- Candidates should possess skills in Data Modeling and Data Warehousing for analytics-ready structures.
- Candidates should possess skills in Extract Transform Load (ETL) processes and pipeline orchestration.
- Candidates should possess skills in Data Analytics and working with stakeholders to translate data into insights.
- Proficiency with modern data technologies (e.g., SQL, Python, cloud data platforms, distributed data processing) is beneficial.
- Experience designing secure, reliable, and performant data architectures in a production environment is beneficial.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience is beneficial.
- Ability to work independently in a remote setting, communicate clearly with cross-functional teams, and follow inclusive, collaborative practices is beneficial.
- Fluent English is required. Must be willing to work on USA Central time zone overlap.
