Job Description – Salesforce Developer Declaratives and Programmatic
Contract: 6-month duration, with the possibility of extension.

Position Summary
We are seeking an experienced Salesforce Developer to design, develop, enhance, and support Salesforce solutions in complex enterprise environments.
The ideal candidate combines strong hands-on development expertise with a solid understanding of Salesforce architecture, integration patterns, security models, and best practices. This role requires a proactive professional capable of delivering high-quality solutions, troubleshooting complex issues, and collaborating effectively with business and technical stakeholders.
This position is part of a global support and delivery organization and offers the opportunity to work across multiple Salesforce Clouds, integrations, and enterprise applications.
This is a full-time, remote contractor position.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable Salesforce solutions using declarative and programmatic capabilities.
- Develop and support Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), Visualforce, Flows, and Salesforce integrations.
- Collaborate with Business Analysts, Administrators, and stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex production issues across Salesforce environments.
- Develop and maintain integrations using Salesforce APIs and external systems.
- Participate in application design reviews and technical solution discussions.
- Perform code reviews and promote development best practices.
- Contribute to system performance, scalability, security, and maintainability improvements.
- Create and maintain technical documentation and knowledge-sharing assets.
- Support global production environments and participate in critical issue resolution activities when required.
- Stay current with Salesforce releases and recommend adoption of new features and capabilities.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- 5+ years of hands-on Salesforce development experience.

Salesforce Flows
Salesforce Security Model
Experience integrating Salesforce with external applications using REST and SOAP APIs.
Strong troubleshooting and analytical problem-solving skills.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to work effectively in remote and virtual team environments.
Preferred Qualifications
- Salesforce Platform Developer I Certification.
- Salesforce Platform Developer II Certification.
- Salesforce Platform App Builder Certification.
- Experience with Salesforce Service Cloud and Experience Cloud.
- Experience with CI/CD and DevOps practices.
- Experience supporting enterprise production environments.
- Consulting or customer-facing experience.
- Experience working in global delivery organizations.
