We're looking for a Senior Full-Stack Engineer to join a team working on a large E-commerce product catalog platform for a US company. The platform is business-critical, has a long history, and is now being modernized step by step. You'll work across the whole stack: backend services, APIs, databases and React UI.
What you'll do
- Build and ship catalog features end to end, from data model and API to UI
- Take part in the platform modernization: moving legacy parts to a modern architecture incrementally
- Write and maintain automated tests
- Work closely with Product and Design, and with engineers in the US, China and Latin America
What we're looking for
- 7+ years of software development
- Strong backend in Java (Spring Boot)
- Solid React experience, this is a real full-stack role, not backend-only or frontend-only
- REST APIs, microservices, PostgreSQL or MS SQL Server
- CI/CD and automated testing as part of your normal workflow
- At least one platform migration or modernization where you played a key role
- Daily use of AI coding tools (Claude Code, Cursor, GitHub Copilot) in real production work: for coding, tests, code review or documentation. We'll ask about specific examples, including where the tools got it wrong
- English that's comfortable for daily communication with a distributed team
Nice to have
- E-commerce, product catalogs or high-traffic consumer apps
- Experience with both .NET/SQL Server and a modern stack (Java, Go, Python, Postgres)
- AWS or Azure
