We're hiring a Principal Mobile Developer for a fast-growing US-based company building a new consumer-facing mobile application from the ground up.
This is a hands-on, lead-level role. You'll take ownership of the mobile architecture from day one, making key technical decisions on structure, performance, and long-term maintainability rather than just executing someone else's plan. Day to day, you'll be building core features using React Native and Expo, integrating closely with an existing dot-NET API layer, and working alongside the broader engineering and product teams to make sure the app is built on solid technical foundations.
Beyond the build itself, you'll be the senior technical voice for mobile on this project, someone the team can rely on for direction, code quality, and best practices as the app grows. This is a great fit for someone who wants real ownership over a product from its earliest stages, not just a seat on an existing team.
What we're looking for:
- 8+ years of professional software development experience, with deep, demonstrable expertise in React Native
- Hands-on experience deploying and managing apps through Expo
- Strong experience integrating mobile apps with REST APIs, ideally with exposure to dot-NET backends
- A track record of owning mobile architecture decisions independently on production applications, not just contributing within someone else's structure
- Full professional English proficiency
- Comfort operating with a high degree of autonomy and technical ownership
This is a remote, ongoing engagement based in LATAM, with strong overlap with US business hours. You'll be joining a growing effort where the work you do early on will shape how the mobile product is built for the long run.
